Building Connections: Ukrainian Halloween Family Fun Day in Charleville On the 18th of October, a vibrant Halloween Family Fun Day took place in Charleville for Ukrainian families living in the area. The event aimed to bring the Ukrainian community together, strengthen local connections, and create an opportunity for families to meet, socialise, and celebrate Halloween in a warm and friendly atmosphere. More than 100 children and parents attended, taking part in a wide range of fun and creative activities, including games, arts and crafts, board games, dance performances, and costume and pumpkin competitions. The day was filled with laughter, creativity, and festive spirit, leaving wonderful memories for all involved. This community celebration was made possible thanks to the enthusiastic efforts and support of local parents, who volunteered their time and energy to help organise and run the activities. Their involvement made the day a true reflection of community spirit and collaboration. Supporting Community Connections The Halloween Family Fun Day is part of Ballyhoura Development’s ongoing work to support migrant families and foster inclusive, connected communities across the region.
