This project has been funded by the European Union.

On 22nd July, the second MYCo Transnational Project Meeting took place in Charleville, Co. Cork, where all six project partners gathered to review the work to date and plan for the next phase. This was a crucial step forward in our efforts to create effective training tools that will help employers and employees across Europe better engage with generational diversity in the workplace.

Key Milestones:

  • We have successfully completed the Transnational Report on Generational Diversity in the Workplace, which covers five key topics related to intergenerational issues across five European countries. This report, which can be viewed and downloaded on the MYCo website, provides valuable insights into generational dynamics and will serve as the foundation for the development of training tools aimed at promoting intergenerational understanding and inclusion.

Looking ahead, we are looking forward to the next meeting in Porto, Portugal, in December to test our training activities and further refine our tools to support multigenerational teams in the workplace.

After our productive meeting, we also enjoyed some valuable intercultural exchange with our partners, including a fascinating historical walking tour of Charleville with the Charleville Heritage Society, followed by a lively evening of traditional music and dance with local musicians.

The MYCo project continues to grow, and we’re excited to see the positive impact our training tools will have in promoting a more inclusive, cooperative, and productive workplace for people of all ages.
