Ballyhoura Development at the SOILCRATES General Assembly in Granada Ballyhoura Development took part in the SOILCRATES EU General Assembly held from 15–17 October 2025 in Granada, Spain, where partners from six countries gathered to strengthen collaboration and advance shared objectives related to soil health and sustainability. The meeting brought together 21 partners representing Living Labs in Spain, the Netherlands, France, and Ireland. Over the course of the Assembly, attendees reviewed progress across various work packages and explored shared values and opportunities for further cooperation across the Living Labs network. As part of the agenda, participants visited OHmed Venchipa’s olive oil production site and the Particle Accelerator in Escúzar. These field visits offered valuable insights into local agricultural practices and highlighted the importance of innovation in addressing environmental challenges. A notable milestone celebrated during the Assembly was the launch of the €1.6 million FSTP funding scheme. This fund will support at least 40 grassroots initiatives led by farmers, SMEs, associations, and educational organisations, helping them to pilot and share innovative soil health practices.
