Launch of the updated Ahane, Castleconnell, Montpelier Community Action Plan

In 2024 the communities of Ahane, Castleconnell and Montpelier supported by Ballyhoura Development, embarked on a review of the 2019-2023 community action plan to assess progress and ensure its continuing relevance.

An updated community action plan has now been developed, including an updated and revised set of themes and actions.

We’re delighted to announce that the updated community action plan will be formally launched on Wednesday 30th April at 8.15pm in Castleconnell Parish Hall.

This event will provide the local community with the opportunity to view the prioritised actions and to engage with the plan.

People are encouraged to get involved and to take part in projects in which they have an interest, we invite you to bring expertise, knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm to support the various initiatives.

All are welcome, it is never too late to get involved, and we look forward to seeing old friends and to meeting new ones as we work together to realise the ambitions of our community.
