As part of the Community Food Initiative, Ballyhoura Development is inviting families to take part in a six-week Healthy Family Cookery Programme in Kilmallock.

A great opportunity for families to spend time together, learn new skills, and make healthy eating a part of everyday life.

Over the course of the programme, participants will prepare a range of tasty and nutritious recipes from the 101 Square Meals cookbook, while learning about healthy eating, food safety and hygiene, and basic cooking skills.

This hands-on course is designed for a parent or guardian and one child aged 9–12 years to take part together, helping to build confidence and practical skills in the kitchen. It’s a fun and interactive way for families to spend time together while learning to cook healthy, affordable meals at home.

All ingredients will be provided.
