Ballyhoura Country Tidy Towns Awards 2025 Join us to celebrate the incredible achievements of the Tidy Towns Groups across Ballyhoura Country at the 35th Annual Ballyhoura Country Tidy Towns Awards! This special event is an opportunity to honour the volunteers and communities that have dedicated their time and efforts to make our towns and villages shine. Event Highlights: Awards Ceremony – Recognising the improvement and achievements in the Tidy Towns competition. Guided Walk at 6:00 PM – Led by Castleconnell Tidy Towns, this walk will showcase local projects and initiatives, including their work with the Síolta Glasa programme, which focuses on community-led climate action, and you will get a preview of the Tidy Towns groups plans for Culture Night. Keynote Speaker – A speaker from Global Action Plan (GAP) will address the alignment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with the Tidy Towns competition and how this connection can strengthen future applications. Youth Empowerment for the SDGs (YESDGs) – Learn about Ballyhoura Development’s involvement in this exciting Erasmus project. Light Refreshments will be served. The Tidy Towns Awards are a fantastic way to reconnect with all the volunteers who make the Tidy Towns Groups such a success!
