Motanka Doll Workshop Join us for a hands-on cultural workshop exploring the traditional Ukrainian Motanka protective rag doll. This workshop offers a unique opportunity to learn about Ukrainian culture through craft, creativity, and storytelling. Guided by a Ukrainian facilitator, participants will discover the cultural meaning behind Motanka dolls and create their own in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Traditionally handmade without needles, Motanka dolls are rich in symbolism and are believed to represent protection, intention, and wellbeing. What You Will Learn During the workshop, participants will: Learn about the history and meaning of Motanka dolls Explore their role in Ukrainian culture and traditions Create their own Motanka doll to take home No prior experience is required.
