Family Coding Workshop at Mitchelstown Library

Join us for an engaging and interactive family workshop at Mitchelstown Library, where adults and children can collaborate on an exciting coding project. 

Using the popular coding platform 'Scratch', participants will learn the basics of coding while working together to create a fun and unique dance mat project.

This workshop will guide you through using the 'Scratch' platform combined with a Makey Makey device to create a dance mat using simple materials like paper plates. It's a fun way for families to dive into the world of coding together!

Laptop Requirements

A laptop or Chromebook with a USB port is required for the workshop. If you do not have access to one, please let the library know, and they will arrange for you to borrow a laptop for the session.
