This 5-week fabric upcycling course is designed to empower participants with the skills, creativity, and confidence to transform existing clothing into unique, sustainable pieces.

Through a hands-on and supportive learning environment, participants will explore practical techniques including:

  • Basic hand and machine sewing
  • Garment repair and alterations
  • Patchwork and embellishment
  • Creative redesign and fabric reconstruction

The course also introduces key sustainable fashion principles, encouraging participants to rethink clothing consumption, reduce textile waste, and make the most of what they already own.


What You’ll Learn

Each week builds progressively, moving from simple repairs and alterations to more advanced upcycling projects. By the end of the course, participants will:

  • Complete several reimagined garments
  • Gain confidence in repairing and altering clothing
  • Understand different fabric types and how to work with them
