About National Volunteer Week 2026

National Volunteer Week 2026 centres on the theme “From Every Corner, For Every Cause” which celebrates all the different types of volunteers and volunteering that make up our communities.

Across the Ballyhoura region volunteers are strengthening their communities in incredible ways, protecting our environment, sustaining local traditions, saving community businesses, creating spaces to meet, building stronger services, deeper connections and helping communities to thrive in the face of increasing global challenges.

We invite you to join us to hear directly from groups about the impact of their work on communities and individuals and to celebrate with us the incredible diversity of talent and ingenuity we see in every corner of our region.
